This system employs a full variable – frequency control method.
- Hoisting mechanism: It uses the closed – loop vector control mode for speed regulation, with a Yaskawa CIMR – G7A4160 frequency converter.
- Trolley mechanism: The open – loop V/F control mode is selected for speed adjustment, and a Yaskawa CIMR – G7A4055 frequency converter is utilized.
- Gantry mechanism: It adopts the open – loop V/F control mode for speed regulation, with a Yaskawa CIMR – G7A4110 frequency converter.
Each frequency converter is regulated by a potentiometer handle in an analog control manner. The overall control system of the machine uses the C200H series PLC from OMRON in Japan. The fault monitoring system is composed of the PLC and a GP – 2500S touch – screen, which forms a user – friendly human – machine interface.
