Electrical control system for the MQ4035 portal crane in Daxie, Ningbo

This electrical control system is controlled by the C200H series PLC from Omron (Note: The correct spelling is Omron) Corporation in Japan.
The hoisting mechanism is driven by two wound – rotor asynchronous motors. The transmission solution involves connecting resistors in series with the rotor and is complemented by eddy – current braking. The luffing, slewing, and traveling mechanisms are controlled through variable – frequency methods. The frequency converters are from the Yaskawa G5A series of Japan, and the luffing and traveling mechanisms share one frequency converter.
The fault monitoring system consists of the PLC and a GP – 2500S touch screen, creating a user – friendly human – machine interface.
