Design, manufacturing and commissioning of the electrical control system for the MQ4025CZ portal crane at Chizhou Port

The hoisting mechanism is driven by two wound – rotor asynchronous motors. The transmission scheme involves connecting resistors in series with the rotor and using eddy – current braking for speed regulation.
The luffing, slewing, and traveling mechanisms adopt variable – frequency control. The luffing and traveling mechanisms share the C1MR – G5A4037 frequency converter from Yaskawa in Japan, while the slewing mechanism uses the CIMR – G5A4075 frequency converter from the same company.
The PLC used is from the C200H series of Omron in Japan. The fault monitoring system consists of the PLC and a GP – 2500S touch screen, creating a user – friendly human – machine interface.
Note: There might be a typo in “C1MR – G5A4037”. It’s likely supposed to be “CIMR – G5A4037” like the other frequency converter model references.
