This system adopts a full variable – frequency control method.
- The main hoisting mechanism and the gantry mechanism share one frequency converter, which is a Yaskawa CIMR – G7A110 frequency converter for driving.
- The auxiliary hoisting mechanism is driven by a CIMR – G7A4075 frequency converter with the closed – loop vector control mode. The luffing mechanism is also driven by a CIMR – G7A4075 frequency converter, and the slewing mechanism is driven by a CIMR – G7A4055 frequency converter.
The overall control system of the machine uses the C200H series PLC from OMRON Corporation in Japan. The fault monitoring system consists of the PLC and a GP2500S touch – type graphic display, forming a user – friendly human – machine interface. It can display the location of faults and simple troubleshooting methods in real – time with graphics and text, monitor the operating or stopped states of major electrical components, and allows users to modify the parameters of the PLC timer on the touch screen.
